Sailors assigned to the fast combat support ship USNS Bridge (T-AOE 10) attach a cargo pendant to a MH-60S Knighthawk from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 23 (HSC-23) (Wildcards) during an underway replenishment with the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The MH -60S is used for logistics support, vertical replenishments, search and rescue operations and naval special warfare support. Fast combat support ships are used to transport cargo to ships which cannot easily pull into ports to replenish supplies. Ronald Reagan is currently underway in the Pacific Ocean conducting drills in preparation for its upcoming deployment. (U.S. Navy photo by Seaman Benjamin C. Jernigan/Released)
