Jeffery Burgstaller (center), and Cpl. Jaime Jaramillo, reconnaissance Marines with the Maritime Raid Force, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to evacuate a simulated casualty during a training event aboard the USS Somerset (LPD 25), Feb. 11. A SARC can perform paramedical skills, basic life support, minor surgical procedures, and emergency medical health care procedures as required.
