Major Gen. Jon M. Davis, commanding officer of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, visits Marines and Guatemalan Kaibil Special Forces members in Puerto Barrios, Gautemala. The Marines are embarked aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima and are training with the Kaibil Special Forces to strengthen military ties between the two nations. Iwo Jima is anchored off the shore of Guatemala supporting the Continuing Promise 2010 humanitarian civic assistance mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima are working with partner nation's teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary and engineering assistance to eight different nations.
