JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 7, 2017) – Lt. Job Larson, a physician at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, mentors Hospitalman Thomas Wolfe on responsibilities in the hospital’s intensive care unit. The Navy Medical Corps celebrates its 146th birthday on March 3. The Medical Corps was founded with the mission of providing medical care to U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps personnel aboard ships and shore stations, as well as on the battlefield.
