    BREMERTON, Washington (March 7, 2017) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) Airman Jason Langley, from Sacramento, California, tapes ventilation ducting to prepare for dry ice blasting aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Dry ice blasting is used to clean out ventilation, particularly in galleys. John C. Stennis is conducting a planned incremental availability (PIA) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, during which the ship is undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
