Pfc. Ali Abdullah and Spc. Kobie Johnson both cargo specialists with the 1188th Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion, verify a Stryker armored vehicle’s serial number before it is loaded onto a vessel to be shipped back to the United States. The 1188th DDSB is beginning their deployment to Kuwait where they will play an integral part in Third Army operations by tracking the shipment of over tens of thousands pieces of equipment a month within the Third Army’s twenty country area of responsibility.
