INDIAN OCEAN (April 1, 2017) Cmdr. Bradley Coletti, commanding officer of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45), center, Command Master Chief Francisco Diego, left, and Chief Boatswain’s Mate Cameron Bruyere cut a cake in honor of the 124th chief petty officer birthday during a celebration on the mess decks. Comstock, part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region to enhance amphibious capability with regional partners and to serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
