U.S. Servicemembers sprint to the finish line of a two-mile run at day zero of the Air Assault Course, during U.S. Army Central’s first Air Assault Course, April 4, 2017, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The race, finished by all 269 participants within the 18 minutes allowed, is one of two major events for day zero. The Air Assault Course is a 12-day class that allows U.S. military personnel in the USARCENT theater of operations the unique opportunity to become air assault qualified, while deployed outside the continental United States.
