U.S. Servicemembers climb over the top of the ‘Tough One’ obstacle during day zero of U.S. Army Central’s first Air Assault Course, April 4, 2017, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The ‘Tough One’ obstacle includes rope, net climbing and walking along wooden planks. It is one of two obstacles candidates must pass in order to continue forward on day zero. The Air Assault Course allows U.S. military personnel in the USARCENT theater of operations the unique opportunity to become air assault qualified, while deployed outside the continental United States.
