On Nov. 20 Staff Sgt. Jason A. Sepeda, 29, motor transportation supervisor for Base Operations, 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward), and native of Shreveport, La., laughs during a comedy act by comedian Christopher Titus inside a make-shift gym at Camp Taqaddum. Titus, 42, a comic from Newark, Calif., and Jennie McNulty, 44, a stand-up comedian from Los Angeles combined skills to bring an uplifting comedy show for troops serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The event was part of a tour of shows in Western Iraq where the two comics told a few jokes, met, and signed autographs for more than one hundred service members. 1st Marine Logistics Group (Forward) is deployed with I MEF (FWD) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq (MNF-W) to develop the Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic government reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi Reconstruction.
