FORT IRWIN, Calif. – A Trooper assigned to Fury Troop, 2nd Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, replicating a guerilla fighter, fires on elements of the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan., during Fury’s defense of Ujen, a city within the National Training Center, April 30, 2017. The purpose of this phase of NTC Rotation 17-06 was to evaluate the Dagger Brigade’s ability to seize an urban center, while simultaneously engaging with a wide area security threat.
