Senior Airman Michael Munson, 682nd Air Support Operations Squadron and tactical air control party, practices using a PRC-117F (primary man-portable radio) during a TACP exercise, July 7, 2010. Munson is a TACP member and is responsible for several different jobs in the squadron including supervising and instructing during training exercises. The TACP members are specialists who are assigned to combat units. They advise ground forces on aircraft employment and capabilities, coordinate and control aerospace operation and participate in battle planning.
