U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Feb. 27, 2017) Builder 3rd Class Jordan Chamberlain and Equipment Operator 3rd Class Ian Alt, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, work together to prepare an approach ramp for a hazardous material storage tent. NMCB 1 is currently deployed in support of Commander, Task Force 56 which provides disaster relief, exercise-related construction and theater security cooperation engineering support across U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
