170505-N-KH151-056 YOKOSUKA, Japan (May 5,2017) Damage Controlman 2nd Class (SW) Joseph Relethford, from Burien, Washington, attaches an air-booster pump hose to a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) tank in the hangar bay of the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Sailors use air-booster pumps to fill SCBA bottles with high-pressure air after every use. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
