Sgt. Victor Magana, 25, a squad leader from Pomona, Calif., guides a bulldozer at a small combat outpost in Musa Qal’eh, Nov. 3. Engineers with 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward), used the bulldozer to push large amounts of dirt into piles creating a large berm that encircled the position manned by 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment.
