Engineers with 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division (Forward), work quickly as the sun sets to finish closing off a vulnerable section of a small combat outpost in Musa Qal’eh, Nov. 4. Marines of 1st CEB were called in, to fortify defensive positions manned by 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment. Combat engineers worked all day and into the night to ensure troops and their outpost were secure.
