PACIFIC OCEAN – Lance Cpl. Caitlin McCoy, a landing support specialist with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, the Logistics Combat Element of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, makes adjustments to ropes for an upcoming helicopter support team training operation where two M777 Howitzers will be transported from ship-to-shore during Composite Training Unit Exercise, May 2, 2017. CLB-15 supports the Marine Air-Ground Task Force by providing a multitude of logistical sustenance such as water purification, general engineering, and a robust medical capability. COMPTUEX is the second at-sea training exercise that provides opportunities to sharpen mission essential skill sets prior to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Certification Exercise and Western Pacific 17-2 deployment.
