(May 16, 2017) Equipment Operator 1st Class Raymond Pope, left, and Equipment Operator 3rd Class Dustin Best, both assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18, prepare a board for bracing while volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Sailors from Navy Operations Support Center (NOSC) Spokane are reaching out to the local community to make a difference during Navy Week Spokane. Navy Week programs serve as the Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country without a significant Navy presence, with 195 Navy Weeks held in 71 different U.S. cities.
