Vice Admiral Robert C. Parker, Commander, Coast Guard Atlantic Area has lunch with the crew of the 110-foot patrol boat Wrangell assigned to Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. The Wrangell is one of six 110-foot patrol boats assigned to Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. Personnel assigned to the area provide maritime security around critical infrastructure in the Northern Persian Gulf. Parker was in the region during the Thanksgiving holiday, visiting with deployed Coast Guard members. As Atlantic Area Commander, Parker oversees the personnel deployed to the Persian Gulf region.
