Vice Adm. Robert C. Parker, Commander, Coast Guard Atlantic Area talks to the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Wrangell underway in the Northern Arabian Gulf. The Wrangell is one of six 110-foot patrol boats assigned to Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia. Personnel assigned to the area provide maritime security around critical infrastructure in the Northern Arabian Gulf. Parker was in the region during the Thanksgiving holiday, visiting with deployed Coast Guard members. As Atlantic Area Commander, Parker oversees the personnel deployed to the Arabian Gulf region.
