Navy officers begin the six-mile hike portion of the Fleet Marine Force Qualification course aboard Camp Leatherneck, Nov. 27, 2010. The FMF course consists of classes such as Marine Corps air and ground combat tactics and weapons fundamentals, a Marine Corps physical fitness test and six-mile hike. Sailors can use the FMF course to further their careers and learn the basics of a Marine Corps traditions and customs.
