After completing the six-mile hike, Naval officers discuss the next step of completing the Fleet Marine Force qualification aboard Camp Leatherneck Nov. 27, 2010. The FMF course usually lasts three to four months and consists of classes ranging from ground combat operations to Marine Corps customs and courtesies, a Marine Corps physical fitness test and a six-mile hike.
