Naval officers Lt. Jim McDonnell and Lt. Kellye Hoffman, both with 3rd Marine Air Wing (Forward), complete the six-mile hike portion of the Fleet Marine Force Qualification course at Camp Leatherneck Nov. 27, 2010. The FMF course allows Navy officers and enlisted personnel to earn their FMF pin and consists of classes on Marine Corps tactics and traditions, a Marine Corps physical fitness test and a six-mile hike. McDonnell, 42, is a native from Patuxent River, Md., and Hoffman, 34, is from Jackson, Tenn.
