Lance Cpl Xiongmee Vang, food service specialist, Headquarters Battalion, prepares part of her chicken dish at the 2010 Hawaii Culinary Exposition Student Competition and Salon held in Honolulu Dec. 10. Vang's dish of chicken supreme earned a bronze medal from the American Culinary Federation. She and several other cooks from Marine Corps Base Hawaii are also scheduled to compete at Fort Lee, Va., in 2011.
