45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Soldiers serving as part of the Joint Multinational Training Group-Ukraine take part in a battalion transfer of authority ceremony at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center on the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, near Yavoriv, Ukraine on 10 July.
The 1st Bn. 179th Inf. Regt., 45th IBCT transfers authority to the 1st Battalion, 279th Infantry Regiment, 45th IBCT, and has spent the last six months as part of the JMTG-U, an international coalition dedicated to improving the CTC's training capacity and building professionalism within the Ukrainian army.
