Petty Officer 3rd Class Jordan Springer, a boatswain's mate from Holland, Texas, operates a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat on the starboard side of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. RHIBs are used to transport personnel, as recue craft and for visit, board, search and seizure. Ronald Reagan is currently underway off the coast of California preparing for an upcoming deployment.
