Alexis Timko, Air Force Teen Council regional representative; Nikolas Parkinson, Mountain Home AFB and Idaho Military Youth of the Year; Donald Kellogg, Little Rock AFB and Arkansas Military Youth of the Year; Jakob Kinsey, U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, Youth of the Year; Brennan Robin Luke AFB, Arizona, Youth of the Year; Desha Jenkins, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, Youth of the Year; Julianna Valentino Air Force Teen Council regional representative; and Lindsey Sciberras, Tinker AFB and Oklahoma Military Youth of the Year and Teen Council regional representative, place flags in a storage bin. Each year during the Air Force Youth of the Year and Teen Council Summit, participants perform community service. This year, they rolled flags that had been displayed over Memorial Day weekend at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Joint Base San Antonio, Texas. In just a few hours on July 12, 2017, they rolled and stored 35,000 flags.
