David Hamann, 88th Diagnostics and Therapeutic Squadron histopathology technician, cuts tissue that has been embedded in a medium which is flash frozen for intraoperative consultation at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center, June 26, 2017. The tissue will be placed onto a glass slide, then examined by a pathologist who will render a diagnosis within 20 minutes of receiving the specimen.
