Balad, Iraq -- Capt. Kenny Bierman programs the Joint Precision Air Drop System software on a C-130 Hercules in preparation of the first JPADS mission in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Feb. 16. JPADS is a new airdrop system used by C-130 crews to drop cargo at higher altitudes with improved accuracy. Bierman is assigned to the 777th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron.
