    132FW launches first flight in history with the Royal Australian Air Force.

    Staff Sgt. Steve Edwards (right), of the 132nd Fighter Wing (132FW), Des Moines, Iowa, removes the crew ladder of an F-16 D aircraft in preparation to close the canopy so pilot Lt. Col. Troy Havener (cockpit, front seat) can launch and be a part of the first flight in history of 132FW F-16 aircraft and Williamtown Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base, Australia F-18 aircraft during the Dissimilar Air Combat Training (DACT) mission at the Williamtown RAAF Base, Australia, on Feb. 21, 2011. The 132FW is conducting DACT mission “Sentry Down Under” with the RAAF and will be back in the United States in mid-March.
