On Feb. 21, 2011, an F-16 D aircraft from the 132nd Fighter Wing (132FW), Des Moines, Iowa, launches from the runway of the Williamtown Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base, Australia, marking this launch as the first flight in history of 132FW F-16 aircraft and Williamtown RAAF Base F-18 aircraft. The 132FW is conducting Dissimilar Air Combat Training mission “Sentry Down Under” for approximately one month with the RAAF.
