    132FW launches first flight in history with the Royal Australian Air Force.

    An F-18 aircraft (left) from the Williamtown Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Base, Australia, taxis out to the runway as an F-16 D aircraft (right) from the 132nd Fighter Wing (132FW), Des Moines, Iowa, launches behind, marking this launch as the first flight in history of 132FW F-16 aircraft and Williamtown RAAF Base F-18 aircraft during the Dissimilar Air Combat Training (DACT) mission at the Williamtown RAAF Base, Australia, on Feb. 21, 2011. The 132FW is conducting DACT mission “Sentry Down Under” for approximately one month with the RAAF and will be back in the United States in mid-March.
