Danielle Burns, left, provides a tour of the vehicle turning area aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) during a ship tour for participants attending the Marine Corps Forces Central Command Regional Marine Symposium in Aqaba, Jordan. The symposium was designed to foster professional relationships between regional marine forces and naval infantries operating in the Middle East and South Asia. Carter Hall, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
