170822-N-ME988-0864 AQABA, Jordan (Aug. 22, 2017) Fireman Nicolas Trajano, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50), makes a pass during a soccer scrimmage against service members from the Jordan Armed Forces during a port visit. Carter Hall, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
