Command Sgt. Maj. Todd Sims, senior enlisted advisor, 101st Airborne Division, gives a 101st Airborne Division Coin to Warrant Officer Darius Nabaa, the brigade ammunition officer for 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st. Nabaa was part of a team, who recently made history, for the division, by winning the Ammunition Transfer and Holding Point Team of the Year competition last month, at Fort Campbell, 12 Sept. The United States Army Ordnance Corps designed the competition to test Soldiers’ teamwork and critical thinking abilities as they apply technical solutions to real world problems. During the Ordnance Crucible, teams competed in physical fitness, marksmanship, land navigation, sling load operations, analysis of ATHP faults, ammunition identification and accountability procedures and ATHP layout design to optimize tactical operations.
