Students from Central Lakes College and Perham High School have the opportunity to shadow Brian Dirks, Camp Ripley Environmental Team, as he puts the mother black bear back into her den, March 8. Annually, members of the Camp Ripley Environmental Team perform den visits to gain insight on the health and well-being of the black bear to assist in the advancement of medical research and other scientific advancements.
