U.S. Navy LT Raymond Posey, an Atlanta, Georgia native, is the operations officer of the Sri Lanka Health Engagement 17 team, held from Sept. 9-23, 2017 at Naval Base Welisara, Sri Lanka. Posey enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1998. As an enlisted Sailor, he obtained his bachelor’s degree from Hawaii Pacific University and his master’s degree from Cleveland State University and was commissioned in 2009.
