Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Jeffrey Bernard checks the lube oil pressure for a starting compressor, during an engineering round aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Healy, while the crew is underway in the Arctic, Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017.

The starting compressor is used to push air into a receiver, which is then used to start the onboard main diesel engines.
