Timothy Moore, commanding officer USS Donald Cook, Jeremy Douglas, Command Master Chief, and the Sailors who organized the Navy’s birthday celebration aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) cut a birthday cake in celebration of the Navy’s 242nd birthday, Oct. 13, 2017. Donald Cook, which is forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its sixth patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners, and U.S. national security interests in Europe.
