Indian Ocean (Nov. 3, 2017) Sailors remove the forward looking infared sensor on an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, assigned the “Eightballers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 8 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
