The incoming Adjutant General Brig. Gen. Michael Garshak takes command of the large Idaho Army and Air National Guard troop formation for the first time at the change of command ceremony Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 at Gowen Field. The ceremony signified the transfer of authority between the outgoing Commanding General Maj. Gen. Gary Sayler and Garshak. The commander in chief, Governor C.L.
