CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, Japan – Lance Cpl. Jacob Ellis fires his M9 during an Special Reaction Team familiarization range Nov. 8 aboard Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. The SRT Marines use these familiarization ranges to ensure their Marines are comfortable with their weapon systems under duress. Each Marine had safety officers and line coaches overseeing all of the movements under fire.
