NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 30, 2017) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Cassidy Belcher, from Des Moines, Iowa, waits to begin removing the anchor from the ship in the forecastle aboard the Nimitz-Class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73). George Washington is undergoing a refueling and complex overhaul (RCOH) at Newport News Shipyard.
