CULEBRA, Puerto Rico – A resident of Culebra repairs his hurricane ravaged home, but must power the tools using his truck on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017. The island’s power grid is supplied by the main island of Puerto Rico through underwater power lines passing through Naguabo and then Vieques. Those lines were damaged during Hurricane Irma and more so during Hurricane Maria. Municipal officials in Culebra hope for a return of electricity from the main island in March of 2018.
