Robert Farmer, USACAPOC (A), describes the type of protective equipment that Soldiers wear in a combat zone at Fort Bragg, N.C., May 4. More than 40 employers and supervisors participated in the Rochester, N.Y. Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve committee’s Boss Lift program. Employers and supervisors were able to see firsthand the type and quality of military training and leadership activities National Guard and Reserve members receive while they are away from their civilian occupation for duty with their military units.
