Wyrick, attached to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), presents various gifts to his daughter during his retirement ceremony at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka. Family, friends, and members of Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka attended to recognize Wyrick’s 30 years of naval service. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
