PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 7, 2017) Tigers aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) observe from the flight deck as the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer (DDG 100) fires a Phalanx Close-In Weapons System (CIWS) during a sea-power demonstration as part of Tiger Cruise 2017, Dec. 7, 2017, in the Pacific Ocean. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled deployment to the Western Pacific.
