WEST BETHESDA, Md. — Nov. 29, 2017: The Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. John Richardson, was the key note speaker during the second day of the NAVSEA Warfare Center, “Courage, Confidence, Competence: Leadership in a Diverse Environment,” training event held at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, Nov. 28-29. The two-day training event sought to provide participants increased awareness, insight and tools to reach their next level of success. The training also sought to train “change agents” who would take tools and best practices to their organizations. Richardson shared his diversity vision that to maintain our war fighting edge, it is essential that our Navy total force be diverse in experience, backgrounds and ideas.
