180112-N-NR803-097 PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Jan. 12, 2018) Corpsmen link together to enter a smoke-filled building to begin their Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course capstone. TCCC participants were expected to treat simulated patients and navigate through the distractions created by instructors. TCCC is a course required by the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery for all corpsmen that helps prepare them to respond to the injuries in theater and on the battlefield.
