180112-N-NR803-108 PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Jan. 12, 2018) A Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) participant is graded after moving a simulated patient to a designated safe zone. Participants were expected to work within a designated time limit to execute correct procedures. TCCC is a course required by the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery for all corpsmen that helps prepare them to respond to the injuries in theater and on the battlefield.
